GLADYS W. MILLER

Gladys W. Miller, age 100, of Troy, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the SpringMeade Healthcare Center, Tipp City, OH. Gladys was born on December 31, 1914 in Bradford, OH to the late George and Laura (Folkerth) Gibboney. Gladys was married to James on October 8, 1938 and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1994.

Gladys is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Barbara and James Turner of Zephyrhills, FL, and Marilyn Broers of Bailey, CO; grandchildren: Susan (Jeffrey) Pytel of Tipp City; Andy and Khristine Turner of Tipp City; Jennifer and Gary Gregg, of Bailey, CO; Brian Broers of Bailey, CO and Wendy and Tim Margherio of Normal, IL; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Howard, Kenneth, and Donald Gibboney; and one great granddaughter: Cassidy.

Gladys was a 1932 graduate of Kings City, CA High School and the Dayton Comptometer School in 1935. She was a former employee of the US Bank Trust Department.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Baird Funeral Home , Troy, OH with the Rev. John Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
