Gladys A. Eichhorn Gladys Eichhorn, 85, of Troy, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born May 6, 1921, to the late Amos and Delpha Anderson Wampler. On August 18, 1945, She was married to Edward H. Eichhorn who passed away June 30, 1989. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Larry and Pat Eichhorn of Troy, OH; daughter and son-in-law: Carol and Dale Wilgus of Conover, OH; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, John Wampler. Gladys graduated from Newton High School in 1939 and Miami Jacobs in 1940. She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Troy; Troy Senior Citizens; and Hobart Brothers Milestone Club. She retired in 1985 from Hobart Brothers after 20 years of service. Services will be held 10:30AM Monday, April 16, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Tony Carpenter officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 3-5PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ or the donor's favorite charity.
