GLADYS MARIE "DUTCH" TUCKER

Gladys Marie "Dutch" Tucker, age 92, of Troy, OH passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on February 7, 1922 in Casstown, OH to the late Harry Leroy and Elizabeth Marie (Wackler) Tucker.

Gladys is survived by her sister: Ellen Tucker; nieces and nephews:  Kathy Swearingin, Debby and Jim Brown, Mark Smith, Trey Tucker, Kyle Tucker, Justin Smith, Rachel Marie Smith, Benjamin Smith, Jacob Smith, Brian Swearingin and Brad Swearingin.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by brother, Noland Edward Tucker and nephew, Ty Tucker.

Gladys was a graduate of Troy High School.  She was a longtime active member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.  She retired in 1987 after many years of service with Hobart Corporation.  Gladys enjoyed gardening, traveling and her pets.  She was a wonderful aunt.

Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 110 West Franklin Street, Troy, OH 45373.
