Geraldine Cromer, 92, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 8:50pm at the Brethren Retirement Home in Greenville, Ohio. She was born on March 31, 1912 in Quanah, Texas to the late J. Wallace and Zula Idela Hutchinson Bybee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O. Cromer Sr. on November 3, 1990. She is survived by her two children, Ray O.Sharon Cromer Jr. of Troy, Ohio and Pamela Wilson of Toledo, Ohio. She has seven granchildren;Don R. Cromer; Darrel Curtis; Wayne Curtis; Lisa Schnieder; Pauline Buirley; Kevin Wilson; and Angela Wilson; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her best friend, Alice Wade and several nieces and nephews and many friends. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Karen Sue Cromer. She attended the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio. She was a graduate of Idabel High School in Oklahoma and attended one year at Idabel Community College. She also attended Beauty College in Oklahoma City. She was a pianist for Stomps Gospel Quartet in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She worked at Ruby's Beauty Shop in Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
