Gerald Richard "Rick" Peck, age 52, of Conover, OH died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at his residence. He was born June 3, 1955 of Richard E. Peck and Shirley Thompson Peck. He married Debra K. Laughman, his wife of 26 years who survives. In addition to his mother and wife, Rick is survived by his children, Forest R. "Rich" Peck and Angela K. Peck both of Conover; brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Sandra Peck of Troy, OH; sister and her fiancé, Carla Wintrow and Perry Biles of Troy, OH; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl and Carol Laughman of Conover, Robert and Deb Laughman of Conover, Delores and Terry Harmon of Fletcher, and Linda Dilts of Troy. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard E. and brother, Keith "Randy" Peck. Rick was a 1975 graduate of Miami East High School. He was a volunteer with the Miami County 4-H for 15 years and former member of the Loyal of the Moose. Rick was a self-employed semi driver and drove formerly with the American Spirit Transportation. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. Ed Ellis officiating. Interment in the Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8PM Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
