Gerald D. Adkins, age 68, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Williamstown, KY.  He was born June 29, 1951 in Troy to the late Arthur Adkins and Dorothy Mae (Fyffe) Lee.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 25 years: Karen M. (Lawrence) Adkins of Greenville; children: Bryan (Heather) Adkins and Liza Adkins, both of Troy; grandchildren: Eli and Jake Rosen,  Landen Adkins, Cade and Griffin Johnson; siblings: Nancy (Ken) Price of Kiser Lake; Cathie Barger of Piqua, and Dianna White of Troy; 3 stepdaughters and a stepson; 17 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

Gerald was a 1970 graduate of Troy High School.  He loved motorcycles, music and old cars.  He loved watching his kids sporting events.  He was a member of the Troy Redmens Club and Troy Fish & Game Club and a former member of the Troy Eagles and Troy Moose Lodge.  He was a retired welder with Hobart Corp/PMI.

Funeral services to be held 1 PM Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Baird Funeral Home with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. Visitation to be held Thursday from 11AM – 1PM at the funeral home.
