Georgiann A. Shaeffer, age 86, of Troy, OH passed away on March 30, 2025 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1938 in Mauston, WI to the late Francis and Geraldine (Hillebrand) Morrissey.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years of marriage: James L. Shaeffer; two sons: James A. Shaeffer and Daniel L. Shaeffer both of Troy; sister: Jerilyn (James) Kolba of Mauston, WI; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Debbie Durand and sister: Joan Mottard.

She graduated in 1956 from Madonna High School in Mauston, WI. She was formerly employed with Stouder Memorial Hospital and Upper Valley Medical Center after many years of service in the registration and billing departments.  She loved her family, her grandchildren, working in her yard and planting flowers.
