George E. Shooop, age 73, of Troy, Ohio died Thursday, April 19, 2001. He was born of the late, David Russell and Ethel Marie Snyder Shoop. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, George Russell Jr. and Jackie Shoop; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Douglas Carson; Becky and Gary Trostel and Beverly and the late, David Fulton; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy Lauber; Janet and Paul Hufford and Karen Wagner; grandchildren, Gayle, Emalie, Ryan, Tyler and Devyn Carson; Beth, George R. II, Jamie and Drew Shoop; Doedee, Byron and Bradley Trostel and Joshua, Robert and Joseph Fulton and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Jean Conrad, Billie Frances Harper and Katy Gilliam and one grandson, David LeRoy Shoop. He was a member of the ''Waffle House'' coffee club and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a retired farmer and formerly worked at Fulton Farms.
