Geneva Byrd Esmont, 81, of Tipp City, Ohio and formerly of Troy, Ohio died on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at the SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City. She was born on July 17, 1924 in Wolf Pit, Kentucky to the late William Robert and Pauline Slone Byrd. She married Bruno Esmont and he precedes her in death, February 3, 1989. She is survived by three children, daughters & son-in-law; Wootsie & Robert Nishwitz of Concord, MI; Diana Baldwin of Tipp City, OH; son & daughter-in-law; Ed & Faith Esmont of Downingtown, PA; five grandchildren, Jennifer N. Evans; Jessica L. Herrmann; Craig Miller; Michele Davis; Sara E. Messatzzia and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Omer and Franklin D. Byrd. She was a member of the Troy Freewill Baptist Church, Troy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 10:00am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Ernie Wright officiating. Burial will take place in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Thursday, June 8, 2006 from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
