Gayle Y. Meyers, age 88, of Troy, OH passed away on March 1, 2025 at StoryPoint Troy. She was born on March 22, 1936 in Piqua, OH to the late Vayle and Ethel (Young) Criteser.

Gayle is survived by her sons: Jeff (Julie) Grigsby of Troy, David (Cathy) Grigsby of Troy and Brian (John Hawkins) Grigsby of Dayton; daughter-in-law: Regina Grigsby of Tipp City; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Jessica) Grigsby, Bradley (Keisha) Grigsby, Danielle Grigsby, Jonah Grigsby, Abigayle Grigsby, Scott Grigsby, Ashley (Justin) Wurster, and Dustin Grigsby; great grandchildren: Jeremiah, Alex, Cooper, Carter, Madison, Carson, Isaac, Naomi, Chase, Natalie, Alanna, Max and Isabella.  In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her husband: Theodore F. Meyers; son: Steve Grigsby; sisters: Marla Kay Criteser and Bea Stafford; brother: Vayle Criteser; stepmother: Ann Criteser; and grandson: Charlie Grigsby.

Gayle was a 1954 graduate of Troy High School. She worked for Troy Tipp GTE for ten years before retiring from Hobart Brothers as an Administrative Assistant in 1987. Gayle was a member of First United Church of Christ in Troy and enjoyed volunteering at Upper Valley Medical Center for many years

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Lauren Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
