Gary D. Wehrley Gary D. Wehrley, age 63, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 8:01AM Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born May 10, 1944, in Troy, to Robert E. Wehrley and the late Leola Arlene Shanks Wehrley. His wife of 43 years, Penny S. Bausch Wehrley, survives. Also surviving are his father, Robert and step-mother, Peg Rife Wehrley of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law, Eric D. Stephanie L. Wehrley of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelly L. Chad Hurley of Troy; step-brothers and sisters: Beth Steve Lamka, Nina Jeffrey Price, Terri Grissom and Jeffrey Wagner all of Troy; four grandchildren: Brandon M. Wehrley, Nicholas A. Wehrley, Kevin T. Wehrley and Anika S. Hurley. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Kathy Wehrley of Dayton, OH, and Beverly Nelson of California and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Leola, who passed away in 1985, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Tom R. Wehrley. He was a 1962 graduate of Troy High School. He attended First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio; served in the US Air Force National Guard; was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge #14 F. & A.M. and of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Ohio. Gary was also a Systems Manager with Electronic Data Systems in Dayton. Services will be at 11:00AM Wednesday April 2, 2008, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II, officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call from 5-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
