Gary "Doug" Stiltner, age 83, of Medway, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at his residence.  He was born on October 21, 1942, to the late Bert and Goldie Ample (Blackburn) Stiltner.

Doug is survived by his wife of almost 60 years: Lydia (Owens) Stiltner; two children: Cindy (Kevin) Wiant of Medway and Lee (Heidi) Stiltner of Fairborn; one sister: Audrey (Dexter) Hicks of Troy; seven grandchildren: Zach (Tracey) and Taylor (Libby) Wiant, Cody (Sidney) Stiltner, Steven Johnson, Cameron (Jamie) and Kyle Stiltner and Erika (Brandon) Spear; and eight great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by one sister: Ann Hackney and one brother: Larry Stiltner.

Doug was a former member of Troy Fish and Game and Redmans Club.  He retired from Troy Sunshade Hobart Corp.  Doug was a big cowboy.  He restored saddles, cowboy boots and hats.  Doug enjoyed horses.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at New Horizon Church in Troy with Pastor Joe Hill officiating.  Burial will take place in Medway Cemetery following service.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
