Gary Dean Pearson, 55, died Friday December 16, 2005 at home with his family at his side. He married Marcia Caldwell Pearson in April, 1976 who survives. He is also survived by his parents, Lawrence and Edna Mae Heffner Pearson, daughter and son in law, Carrie Pearson and Kevin Glover. He is a proud grandfather to Victoria Mae Glover, age 2 and Patrick John Glover, age 9 months. Gary is also survived by sister and brother in law Kathy Pearson and Thomas Lutz, sister in law and brothers in law Linda Caldwell and Chuck Jackson, Jim Caldwell and 4 nephews and a niece. Gary was an avid history buff. He loved American History especially the studies of the Civil War. He was a Penn State Alumni in their Civil War Studies. Gary was involved in numerous activities throughout our community, Troy First Church of God, Troy Civic Theater, National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, Lifetime Member of the NRA, historical re-enactor and musician/songwriter. As a member of Broken, a Christian Trio with his brothers in Christ, Bob Straker and Joe Creasy, he recently recorded and released their first album featuring 3 of Gary's original songs. The release of this CD was Gary's dream and his family is thankful that he was able to see it completed. Gary's dream was to reach people with the songs that he wrote and help share his love of God.
