Gary L. Johnson, age 69, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born February 2, 1953 in Bristol, TN to the late Robert and Lena Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie M. (Stanley) Johnson on October 27, 2021.

Gary is survived by one son: Eric Johnson; grandchildren: Krystal Dinardo, David Dinardo, Destiny Dinardo, Rebecca Newman, Malena Johnson, Ella Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Poet Johnson and Holland Johnson; and great grandchild: Aiden Newman.  In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Jennifer M. Johnson; son: Roger Johnson; and grandson: Blake Johnson.

Gary was an avid car enthusiast and a great cook.  He was a retired mechanic.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on May 11, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
