Garwood Carl Faunce, 64, of Piqua, passed away at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy on Saturday, November 26, 2022 after a long illness.  He was born on November 21, 1958 in New Bedford, MA to the late Mahlon Jr. and Beatrice (Hall) Faunce.

He is survived by his brother: Mark (Darlene) Faunce of MA; sister: Gwendolyn (Robert) Hasser of Xenia, OH; and longtime friend: Nina Hiser of Piqua, OH and her children: Emily, Charles, and Elyse; grandson: Curtis and other grandchildren.

Garwood was an active member in the Independent Order of Odd Fellow, attaining the office of the Grand Master of the Ohio IOOF. He was also active in the Rebekas, Encampment, the Canton, and Amos branches of the IOOF. He held many positions working in fiberglass both in Massachusetts and Ohio.  Garwood was an ordained Minister in order to help others and was very active in A.A. while his most favorite things to do were fishing, and driving the open road.

Friends may call on the family from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with special services by the IOOF at 5:00 PM on December 9, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
