G. Bruce Briggs, DVM, age 62 of Covington, Ohio died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at the University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Born July 27, 1939 in Wooster, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Myrle Wright; mother, Paulyne Briggs; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey; Brian and Karen Briggs; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Todd Johnson; brothers and sister-in-law, Warren and Ruthann Briggs and Richard Briggs; sister, Elizabeth Briggs and sister-in-law, Janet Wright; granddaughters, Kendra and Larissa Johnson. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy, OH; Farm Bureau Council and Professional Societies. He was a graduate of Wooster High School; The Ohio State University with BS in Agriculture in 1961 and Veterinary Medicine in 1965. He was a Senior Scientist and Manager of GEO-Centers, Inc. Naval Health Research Center NHRC/TD Wright Patterson AFB. He also founded the WIL Lab in Cincinnati and Ashland, Ohio and was an Adjunct Professor with the Wright State University.
