Frederick L. Louthan, age 89, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Monday July 21, 2025.  He was born on June 8, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Chester F. Louthan and Dorothy May (Anderson) Louthan.

He was a 1954 graduate of Milton-Union High School.  He attended The Ohio State University and Sinclair Community College.  He retired from Estee Mold and Die, Dayton, Ohio.  He loved gardening, painting with water colors and wood working.

He was preceded in death by Mildred Lewis, his longtime companion; Cynthia Louthan Roark, mother of his children; Chester F. Louthan, his father; Dorothy May Codenhead, his mother; twin brother Thomas K. Louthan; and sister Judy Swank.

Fred is survived by his children Sherry (Scott) Sowry, Leanne (Mike) Fleck, and Amy Randolph.  Grandchildren April (Jim) Bennett, Ross (Jessica) Farling, Blake Sowry, Elizabeth Fleck, Alex (Neil) McKenzie, and Chase (Julia) Randolph.  Great-grandchildren Charlie and Henry Bennett, Maddie, Mya and Emma Farling, Max McKenzie and Wes Randolph.
