Frederick William Bashore Frederick William Bashore, age 80, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away at 6:00AM on Monday, September 5, 2011 at his residence. He was born on October 1, 1930 in Paulding, Ohio to the late Raymond Earl Bashore and Donna Marie Hyman Russell. His wife of 58 years of marriage, Irene Chaky Bashore, survives. Other survivors include his three sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel Ray Belinda Bashore of Franklin, Ohio, Gary Lee Mindy Bashore of Tipp City, Ohio and Rex Allen Bashore of Troy, Ohio; one sister, Mary Francis Carr of Countryside, Illinois; four half-brothers: Raymond E. Bashore of Loda, Illinois, James Bashore of Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Thomas Bashore of Durham, North Carolina and Stanley Bashore of Massachusetts; seven grandchildren and their spouses: Jacob Daniel Rachel Bashore of Virginia, Leah Marie Tate Green of Ohio, Aaron Louis Jillian Bashore of Ohio, Charity Ann David Smith of Italy, Brad James Melissa Bashore of Nevada, Matthew Scott Janelle Bashore of Florida and Jennifer Marie Bashore of Ohio; thirteen great-grandchildren: Braxton, Braydon, Brodie and Brylie Green, Reagan, Avery and Levi Bashore, Noah, Josie and Jenna Bashore, Gabriella and Alexander Bashore and Lillian Smith; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mr. Bashore was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Raymond Earl and Bertha Bashore; mother and stepfather, Donna Marie and Claude Russell; daughter, Joyce Ann Bashore in 1961; and one sister, Donna Rae Renollet. He was a graduate of Paulding High School. He was veteran of the Korean War, having served as Tech Sergeant in the US Air Force from October of 1947 to November of 1952. He was a Charter Member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Inc., Western Ohio Chapter of Piqua, Ohio and a member of VFW Sabec Memorial Post 9582, the Vandalia, Ohio Military Guard. Mr. Bashore retired as General Foreman from Chrysler Airtemp of Dayton, Ohio. He also worked at Super Wash in Tipp City, Ohio. Services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Paul Napier officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, with VFW Memorial Honor Guard at the graveside. Friends may call from 6-8PM on Friday at the funeral home.
