FREDA MAE HODGES WARD TROY - Freda Mae Hodges Ward, age 86, of Troy, Ohio, died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at SpringMeade Health Center after an extended illness. She was born September 13, 1920 to the late Selar and Lila Fisher Hodges. She was married to Lowell C. Ward for 67 years and he survives. She is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Charles Rader of Troy, Ohio; brother-in-law, Kenneth E. Ward of Troy; sisters-in-law, Dortha Gingrich of Troy and Gladys Stanley of Piqua; niece, Pam Clawson of Casstown; grandchildren, Jennifer Bretland and Jason Rader, both of Troy; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by two sisters, Margery Louise Clawson and Virginia Nicholas. She was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren in Troy, Ohio. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Sheila Shumaker officiating. Interment in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
