FREDA TEAGUE Freda June Teague, 77, of Greenville, died Jan. 19, 2002 at Wayne Hospital in Greenville following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 29, 1924 in Logan County, W. Va. to the late Kelly and Goldie Toler Bailey. Mrs. Teague is survived by her husband, Homer Teague of Greenville; seven sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and JoAnn Staten of Troy, Kelly Staten of Piqua, Jerry Staten, Joe and Karen Staten, Kent and Tracey Staten, Jimmy Staten, James and Patrice Cook all of Troy; three stepchildren, Margaret Wilson of Greenville, Michael Teague of Greenville and Lena Teague of Kentucky; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mercedes and Bernard Corns, Betty Lou and Jim Evans, Vodis and Raymond Cook, all of Logan County, W.Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Martin and Ima Jean Bailey of Man, W.Va. and LeRoy and Judy Bailey of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Bailey of Man, W. Va.; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Roy Staten, Harold Cook and Ernie Hensley; and one brother, Dewey Bailey. She was a member of the Mountain Assembly Church of God in Greenville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy by the Rev. Dennie Paul. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Baird Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
