Fred L. Gearheardt Fred L. Gearheardt age 57, of High Point, NC, formerly of Troy, OH, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at 4:00PM at his residence in High Point. He was born on October 4, 1950, to the late Fred L. Gearheardt and Virginia May Avey Gearheardt. His wife of 6+ years, Barbara Folden Gearheardt, survives. He is survived by his first wife, Sandra Hufford of Piqua, OH; second wife, Barbara Gearheardt of High Point, NC; one son, Corey Lee Brenda Gearheardt of Greensboro, NC; two step-daughters, Shawana Daniel Blair of Marietta, OH and Heather Bob Scott of Dayton, OH; two step-sons: Christopher Ashley and Matthew Stephans both of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Barbara Ann Christy Gearheardt of Troy, OH; two grandchildren: Corbin Owen and Katlyn Louise Gearheardt; and five step-grandchildren: Courtney and Tyler Blair and Halle and Jayden Stephens and Logan Scott. Fred was a graduate of Troy High School and was a former member of the Piqua Moose Lodge. He worked with Emery WorldWide Freight of Dayton, OH and GearHart Aviation Services, LLC in both Dayton, OH and Greensboro, NC. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Friday, June 13, 2008, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH, with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
