Obituary

Franklin A. ''Red'' Taylor, 72 died at his residence on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Helen M. Poling-Behm; daughters and sons-in-law: Nikki and Arthur Ross of Troy, Ohio, Terry and Bob Kostoff of West Milton, Ohio; stepchldren: Sharon nd Doug Groves of Piqua, Ohio, Craig, Mark and Ray Behm Jessie of Piqua, Ohio; Brother, Bernard Taylor of Michigan; grandchildren, Rachel Kostoff, Christina Lawrence and Raychel Behm; one great grandchild, Chelsea Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Velma B. Schaeffer Taylor; two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Taylor was owner/operator of Troy Ice Service 1957-1971; Red's Drive Thru 1971 - 1997. Vistitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, July 7, 2003 with a service at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 8, 2003. Nancy Cook will officiate at the service with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contribuions may be made to Hospice of Miami County. He lived his life fully and with great humor which he kept until the end. He will be missed by friends and family.
