Frank E. Brower, Jr., age 86, of Troy, OH passed away on October 14, 2024 at StoryPoint of Troy.  He was born on January 15, 1938 in Dayton, to the late Frank E. Brower Sr. and Gladys G. (Zimmerman) Brower.

Frank is survived by his daughter: Lori S. Brower of Troy; son and daughter-in-law: Terry L. and Diana L. Brower of Troy; and grandchildren: Travis Salyer and Joel Salyer both of Troy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded on April 15, 2024 by his wife of 65 years: Dora Louise Brower; daughter: Lucinda K. "Cindy" Brower; and two sisters: Paricia Hoover and Rosemary Renner

Frank was a 1956 graduate of Milton-Union High School, a graduate of Manchester College and furthered his studies at University of Dayton.  He was a member of the Miami County Gem and Mineral Club and Scout Master with Troop #82.  He enjoyed wintering in California and Florida.  He also enjoyed many years of collecting and creating gem pieces.  Frank also helped organize Pickleball in the Troy community.  Frank and Louise took over the operation of Brower Stationers in Troy from Frank, Sr. in 1964 and continued running the business for 42 years before passing it on to the next generation.

Family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, followed by a Graveside Service at Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
