Frances Marie Hormell Frances Marie Hormell, age 91, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 7:36AM on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born on June 13, 1920 in Lima, Ohio to the late Homer and Leo Klingler Lehman. Her husband, Charles W. Hormell, Jr. preceded her in death on September 1, 1987. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles W. and Donna M. Hormell of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Janet Lehman, Sharon Lehman Barr and Margery Lehman; and many beloved nieces and nephews in the Lima area. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Hormell was preceded in death by her two sisters: Helen Lehman and Dorothy Swartz; and four brothers: Carl, Donald, Darrell and Robert Lehman. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Troy, and active in the Craft Club at Troy Senior Citizens where she knitted many caps and blankets for charity. Mrs. Hormell worked for many years at the Board of Education in Troy. A funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, September 2, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church, Troy, with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
