Fran I. McDougall Pinkie 86, of Troy and formerly of South Venice, FL, Palmetto, FL, and Montreal Canada died at 7:40 AM Sunday February 6, 2011 at Koester Pavillion, Troy. She was born September 15, 1924 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Gordon Taylor. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lindsay C. McDougall on December 25, 2008, and a sister Dorothy. Survivors include son Brady Sandy McDougall of Atlanta, GA., daughter Wendy George Shepard of Troy and daughter Sherry McFarland of Largo, FL.; three grandchildren Kyle Shepard of Cuyahoga Falls, Ashley Shepard of Columbus and Alicia McFarland of Bradenton, Florida. Mrs. McDougall volunteered her time and talent to several individuals and organizations throughout her lifetime. Her sweet spirit, loving nature and wonderful sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be no public visitation.
