Floyd Joseph Watren, 79 of 100 Norbert Dr., Troy died Friday, Jan. 22, in Eldersburg, Md. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey L. Watren in 1989; and his parents, Edward and Loretta Richards Watren. Mr. Watren is survived by two sons, Edward William Watren of Cincinnati, and John Joseph Watren of Troy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindi and John Silva of Eldersburg, Md. and Terri and Raymond Boyd of Piqua; one brother, Richard Watren of Tavaras, Fl; one sister and brother-in-law Maxine and Richard Pence of Piqua; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Versailles. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Troy, and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was an assemblyman for Hobart Corp. Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic church with Fr. Charles Rohrkemper offication. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
