Floyd Leroy Henderson, age 67, formerly of Troy and more recently of Springfield, OH, passed away on December 11, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on August 25, 1957 in Troy, OH to the late Marvel Leroy and Ruth Evelyn (Skinner) Henderson.

Floyd is survived by his sister: Joyce Lingo; nephews: John (Gwen) Marcum and Justin (Dru) Wilson; great nephews and niece: Joshua Marcum, Elizabeth Marcum and Jordan Wilson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Kathleen Wilson.

Floyd was a graduate of Troy High School and a graduate of the Police Academy.   He worked for many years in Tool and Die then later served with the New Richmond Police Department.  He liked to work on cars and enjoyed helping his neighbors.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM prior to the service.
