Floyd F. ''Sonny'' Fair, 92, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 11:15AM at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. He was born to the late Orel C. and Etta Mae Ballenger Fair on August 12, 1911 in Tipp City, Ohio. His wife Grace Adams Fair preceded him in death in 1992. Also preceding him in death are 2 sister and 3 brothers along with his parents. He is survived by two special nieces, Leigh Ann and Deb. Also, his brother, Donald Fair and sister, Barbara Kraft, both of Tipp City, Ohio. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Troy. He was the first to start the Tipp City Boy's Club and he enjoyed his passion for woodworking. He was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School in 1932. He retired in 1962 as a machinist at A.O. Smith Company and previously has worked for the Tipp City Police Department. Rev. Al Bastin will be officiating the service.
