Florence L. Hirt, 89, of Troy, Ohio and formerly Piqua, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on February 18, 1917 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Paul and Erma Tipple Hirt. She married Willard "Rosie" Rose and he precedes her in death, September 24, 2000. She is survived by three children, sons & daughter-in-law; Edward Beson of Oklahoma City, OK; Robert Elizabeth McClure of Tipp City, OH; daughter, Lois "Cookie" Milligan of Troy, OH; sisters, Ruth Davis of Troy, OH; Pauline Marshall of Piqua, OH; Margaret Patterson of Fischer, Indiana; sister-in-law; Phyllis Hirt of Piqua, OH; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Carolyn Beson and Velma Jeanne Swartz; one grandson, Mark Swartz and brother, Louis "Bud" Hirt. She was a Charter Member of Pocahontas and Eagles of Troy and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio. She was a 1935 graduate of Piqua Catholic High School. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 11:00AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Thursday, November 30, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. There will be special services held at Baird Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2006, Pocahontas service will be at 7:30PM and Eagles service at 7:45PM.
