FLORENCE MARIE FINE

Florence Marie Fine, age 88, of Casstown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy.  She was born on May 4, 1925 in Lostcreek, Ohio to the late Walter and Inez (Sink) Ely. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Fine in 1997.

Marie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Vaughn and Connie Fine of Lebanon, Tennessee and Ron and June Fine of Sidney, Ohio; one daughter, Sue Fine of Washington State; one daughter-in-law, Diane Fine of Casstown, Ohio; one sister, Betty Heater of Milford, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Fine in 1991; one brother, Wayne Ely; and two sisters, Maxine Gross and Dorothy Reineke.

Marie was a graduate of Casstown schools and was a member of the Casstown United Methodist Church and the Cove Springs Grange. She was a former cafeteria worker with the Miami East Schools.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Baird Funeral Home , Troy, Ohio with Rev. Maggie Sykes officiating.  The Cove Springs Grange will hold a special service prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in the Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.  The family will receive friends from 1:00PM – 3:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
