Florence A. Schaefer Florence A. Schaefer, age 90, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 8:27AM on Friday, September 5, 2008, at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. She was born on August 14, 1918, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Walter and Clara Callahan Miller. She married Carl Schaefer who preceded her in death in January of 1992. She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia F. Schaefer of Lebanon, Ohio; one granddaughter, Stephanie David Haley of Lebanon, Ohio; and three great-grandsons: David, Alex and John. She is also survived by special friends, John and Debbie Kingham. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Mrs. Schaefer worked in admitting at Stouder Memorial Hospital for 20 years before retiring in 1985. Private family services were held with interment at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
