Faye L. Saum Faye L. Saum, age 83, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 12:58AM Monday, April 28, 2008, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born on August 18, 1924, in Troy, to the late John Floyd and Goldie Fleck Avey. She was married to Fred Saum who preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Saum is survived by her daughter, Sharon Saum of Troy; two sisters: Mrs. Raymond Jean Favorite and Joan Littlejohn; and four brothers: Harry Avey, Marvin Avey, Norman Avey and Ralph Avey. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Harold, Floyd, Don and Charles Avey and one sister, Virginia Gearheart. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, May 2, 2008 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy, with interment to follow. Baird Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
