Faye L. Hardesty, age 100, of Troy, OH passed away on December 20, 2021 at Garbry Ridge, Piqua.  She was born on September 4, 1921 in Troy to the late Loron and Jessie (Fitzgerald) Hardesty.

Faye is survived by her nephew: Mark E. (Pam) Bartel of Troy; great nieces and nephews: Shawnna (Tony) Roob of Beaverdam; Karla (Doug) Kinney of Kettering; Amy (Eric) Adkins of Casstown; Michael (Anna Durst) Bartel of Troy; Megan (Tyler) Schindel of Piqua; and Amanda (Josh) Blackshire of Troy; numerous great-great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her sister: Dorothy H. (Vernon) Bartel and nephew: Dale E. (Jacque) Bartel.

Faye was a graduate of Staunton School.  She was a lifetime member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Piqua.  She retired from Hobart Bros. Co. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and remembering birthdays.

Services will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, December 27, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 10AM-12PM on Monday. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
