Fannie I. Trimble, age 87, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on October 2, 2009, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born on January 5, 1922, in Bond, Kentucky to the late Lawrence and Sarah Turner Cornett. Her husband, Elmo F. Trimble preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Donna Michael DeWeese of Troy, Joyce Carl Curry of Vandalia; one son and daughter-in-law: Frank Karilyn Trimble of Conway, Arkansas; one sister and brothers-in-law: Billie Jean Dick Hemmert of Jonesbourgh, Tennessee; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry Pat Cornett of Bromer, Florida, Jack Virginia Cornett of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mike Betty Cornett of Berea, Kentucky; six grandchildren: Christopher Tammy Kendall, Mark Miriam Kendall, Matthew Carrie Kendall, Nicole Tony Willhof, Beth Ann Patrick Ragland, Craig Curry; eight great-grandchildren, and her dear friend Helen Curry. In addition to her parents and husband, Fannie is preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Jarman, Joyce Brinkman, and Helen DeAloia, and her very dear friend Betty Wolf. Fannie was a resident member of Community Church in Cozahome, Arkansas. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy at 6 PM. Friends may call Baird Funeral Home from 4-6 PM on Tuesday. Interment will be held at Rock Creek Cemetery- Rock Creek, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund.
