Evelyn M. Schmid, 77, died at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio on Friday, July 19, 2002. Mrs. Schmid is survived by her son,, Martin Schmid; guardian and good friend, Parish Brickey; brother, Charlie Gates; sisters, Gladys Smith, Edna Curl, Charlotte McCell and Ann Spellman; and one grandchild, Marty Nicholi. Mrs. Schmid was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio. She retired from GTE with over 15 years of service. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00AM on Monday, July 22. Services will be held at 11:00AM Monday July 22 at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Thomas Brunner officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
