EVELYN HEFFNER HALL

EVELYN HEFFNER HALL, age 97, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Genesis/Troy Care in Troy.  She was born in Vandalia on August 20, 1918 to the late Glenn O. and Nancy Lenna (Mason) Heffner.  Her husband, George L. Hall, preceded her in death on September 16, 1976.

Evelyn is survived by two sons: Darral G. (Charlotte) Hall of Troy and Bob (Margie) Hall of Tipp City; one daughter: Glenna Dickerson of Piqua; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by one brother: Maurice Heffner; one stepson: George Hall; and one stepdaughter: Kathryn Aldridge.

Evelyn was a member of Wednesday Workers in Troy.  She worked at WACO Aircraft Corporation in Troy.  Evelyn was a homemaker and loved to garden.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Friends may call from Noon to 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
