Evelyn M. Earhart Evelyn M. Earhart, age 85, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 3:35AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Clare Bridge, Troy. She was born on December 13, 1925 in Versailles, Ohio to the late Herman and Agnes Schilling Althoff. Her husband, Harold L. Pat Earhart, preceded her in death on January 15, 1977. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Michael Suerdieck of Troy; one grandson, Brian Dunne of Troy; two great-grandchildren: Katherine and Keegan Dunne of Troy; and four sisters and a brother-in-law: Ruby Kuckherman of Troy, Eileen Mendenhall of Versailles, Ohio, Kathleen Detrick of Troy and Betty and Harold Rhoades of Troy. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Earhart was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Althoff and Ruth Oliver. After high school, she attended Byro's School of Cosmetology. Mrs. Earhart was a member of First United Church of Christ, Troy, where she participated in Class 13. She worked as a beautician from 1945-2001 at Ruby's Beauty Salon in Troy. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Ric Barnes officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
