Evangeline Kay Bowen, age 64, of Springfield, Ohio; formerly of Troy, Ohio died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 5:50AM at her residence. Kay was born October 28, 1945 in Defiance, Ohio to the late Rev. Robert Williman and Eva Scott Williman. She was the wife of Stephen W. Bowen who survives. Kay is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ryan M. and Annette Bowen of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sister and brothers, Janet Ralph Coffman of Bucyrus, Ohio; Jon Anne Williman of Middletown, Ohio; Stephen Martha Williman of Findlay, Ohio; and her adored grandchild, Makenzie Bowen of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Kay was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, class of 63. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church in Springfield, Ohio where she was involved in a kid's mentoring program as a tutor in area Springfield schools. Kay was a Sunday school teacher at various churches over the years. She was a housewife and worked with Jerry Stichter, Auctioneer and in real estate sales for Garden Gate Realty both in Troy, Ohio. Kay previously worked for General Telephone Company in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Service will be held 11:00AM Monday January 4, 2010 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with the Pastor E. Cary Simonton officiating. Interment will be held in the Riverside Cemetery Troy, OH. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home Troy, Ohio from 2-5pm Sunday.
