Esther Marie Rees, 80, of Troy, Ohio died on Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born on February 20, 1926 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Charles and Elzina Alfred. She married Cecil L. Rees, and he precedes her in death in 2001. She is survived by two children, daughter, Connie Bruce of Troy, OH; son & daughter-in-law; Steve & Pam Rees of Troy, OH; four grandchildren, Jason and Jarod Rees and Jessica Dixon; four great-grandchildren, Justice, Corey, Destiny, Jarod Brandon and Landon Rees. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters; four brothers and one grandchild, Justin Rees. She was a member of the Grandmothers Club. She was formerly employed as a private home health nurse. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 16, 2006 @ 12:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
