Erwin A. Maksay Erwin A. Maksay, age 68, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 11, 1942 in Nagyuard, Hungary to Irene Gokeler-Maksay-Reinhardt of Tennessee and the late Geza Szabo Maksay. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Janice K. Sutton Maksay; daughter, Lisa Ann Franklin of Carrollton, Kentucky; son, Kurt A. Maksay of Centerville, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and Harold Zumbrun of Tennessee; one grandson, Brandon M. Franklin; and three nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his father. Erwin was a US Army Veteran serving with the Military Police in France during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors/Delphi after over 25 years of service. There will be no public services. Baird Funeral Home, Troy is assisting the family.
