Ernestine B. Littlejohn, age 85, of Troy, Ohio passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Caldwell House, Troy, Ohio. She was born August 29, 1924 in Vergennes, Illinois to the late Charles M. Schneider and Olive M. Mann Schneider. She was married to Lt. Col. William D. Littlejohn, US Air Force, Retired who preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include one niece, Linda Knowles-Katz of Austin, Texas, cousins, and special friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Littlejohn was preceded in death by one son, Larry; one brother and one sister. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star No. 256; charter member of the Westbrook Garden Club; past member of the Officers Wives Club of Warner Robins AFB, GA and McClelland AFB, CA. Ernestine was a graduate of Southern Illinois School of Cosmetology. Private interment at Casstown Cemetery will be held at a later date.
