Ernest E. Rice, 82, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the Upper Vallley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on November 30, 1921 in Patriot, Ohio to the late Jessie and Artiebelle Parsons Rice. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Lyons Rice and a son and daughter-in-law; Bruce and Sandy Rice of Casstown, Ohio. Also surviving are step-daughters and son-in-law: Kimberly & Chip Russell of Piqua, Ohio and Joyce Liebherr of West Milton, Ohio. He has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Roger Rice and one brother and one sister. He was a member of the Troy Fish and Game and the Troy Eagles #971. He retired in 1981 after 33 years of employment at BF Goodrich in Troy, Ohio. There will be a Private Family service held with the Rev. Robert Linkous officiating the service.
