ERNEST R. HILDEBRAND

ERNEST R. HILDEBRAND, age 83, of Troy passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his residence.  He was born on June 10, 1931 in Ludlow Falls, OH to the late Chester and Grace (Sando) Hildebrand.  His wife of 63 years, Nancy (Karnehm) Hildebrand, survives.

Ernest is also survived by two daughters: Susan (Bruce) Morrett and Linda (Eric) Greulich, all of Troy; grandchildren: Jennifer (Stefan) Bridenbaugh, Richard (Amber) Morrett, Ellen (Gene) Presley and Beth (Dom) Greulich; great grandchildren: Allison, Reagan, Bryce, Michael, Mathew, Lydia and Samuel; and nephew: Ralph (Anita) Hildebrand.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Lowell Hildebrand and Robert Hildebrand; and one sister: Evelyn Wright.

Ernest was a 1949 graduate of West Milton High School.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Troy.  Ernest proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War.  He retired from City Transfer and Storage Company.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Douglas Magin officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
