Ernest Joseph Bodo, age 91, of Troy, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH.  He was born on February 17, 1929 in Hubbard, OH to the late Alexander and Kathryn (Peisoch) Bodo.

Ernie is survived by his wife: Cathrine (Carlson) Bodo; son and daughter-in-law: Bruce S. and Albine S. Bodo of Troy; grandson: Ryan S. Bodo of Fairborn, OH.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Alex Bodo and Elmer Bodo.

He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a graduate of Youngstown University with a degree in accounting and a minor in economics.  He was a member of the Troy Kiwanis Club and the First Lutheran Church.  Ernie loved gardening.  He retired from B. F. Goodrich.
