Erica Renee Patterson, age 49, of Troy OH passed away on July 24, 2023 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering.  She was born on February 3, 1974 in Portsmouth, OH to Eric "Rick" and Angela (Bentley) Patterson of Troy, OH.

In addition to her parents, Erica is survived by her husband: Scott Peterson of four years and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Erica was preceded in death by her loving grandparents: MariLani and Claude Patterson,  John and Madge Bentley; uncle: Claude Patterson and aunt: Lisa J. Bentley-Turner.

Erica was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1992 and graduated from Franklin University with a degree in business management.  She was employed by Dayton Freight as an Accounts Payable Manager and was formerly an Accounts Receivable Manager at Collins Aerospace.

Erica cherished her family and friends.  She enjoyed her many travels and fellowship with family and friends especially shopping.  Erica was always one of the most kind, loving and giving person to all the lives she had touched. She was the light of her Mother and Dad's life and an inspiration to family and friends and all who knew her.  Erica will be missed by her husband and parents but can take comfort in the fact that she is in heaven and resting in peace and they will be with her again.

A service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Saturday.
