Elnora J. Shivadecker Fourman, 75, of Troy, Ohio died on Sunday, April 25, 2004. Elnora Jane was born on August 29, 1928 to Fred and Ivalou Shivadecker on Messmer Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceeded in death by both parents. After the divorce of her parents in 1937, her mother, brother Fred and Elnora moved to Lewisburg, Ohio. As a child she was a member of the F.H.A. and the Girl Scouts. She was baptized in the Methodist Church, and a member of the M.Y.F., also lead the singing in Sunday school, and sang in the church choir. She married Glen Fourman Jr. in 1948, and bore two daughters, Constance Sue and Jane Ann. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Fireman's Auxiliary. She was employed at Inland Manugacturing Division of General Motors in Vandalia, Ohio and retired in January 1990 with 25 years of service, and was a member of the Inland Retirees Club. Elnora's interests were sewing, knitting, crocheting, crafts of all kinds, and also an artist and loved to bowl. She enjoyed working in her yard and interiior decorating. She was Hospital Chairperson for the VA Hospital through the VFW Auxiliary. She also enjoyed serving as Hostess for the USO at the Dayton Airport. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law; Constance Sue & David Rodrian of Lexington, Kentucky and Jane Ann & Gary O'Neal of Plain City, Ohio; brother, Fred in Bayside, Texas and half-brother, Robert of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Kelly, Christopher, Sarah and Alicia; three great grandchildren; Derritt, Haylee, and Dalton. Visitation will be held at Baird Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at 1:00PM at Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio. There will be a VFW Auxiliary service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00PM. Contributions can be made to the VA Hospital, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
