Elmer Honeyman, Sr. age 73, of Troy, OH passed away on December 17, 2025 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  He was born on December 12, 1952 in Troy, OH to the late Bud Honeyman and Lillian Honeyman of Troy.

Elmer is survived by his children: Amy Honeyman; Elmer (Michelle Nurrenbrock) Honeyman Jr. and Josh (Kristi Hatfield) Honeyman; stepchildren: Angela (Josh Sowers) Hall; Amy (Chad) Palsgrove and Amanda Hall-Stanley; 23 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one on the way; stepmother: Erma Honeyman; and bonus brother: Tony Honeyman (nephew).  In addition to his parents, Elmer was preceded in death by his significant other: Tanya Hall; stepfather: Jack Sowery; brother: Harold Honeyman Jr.; and sisters: Cindy Kvant, Kay Detrick, Darlene Miller and Charlene Bramlette.

Elmer was a man of faith.  He loved all his family and friends.  His grandchildren held a special place in his heart and you would always catch him attending their sporting and life events.  He loved to go fishing and you could always find him at the Troy Dam or at one of his favorite lakes.  He enjoyed mushroom hunting, taking bike rides, walks and just to be outside.  He never knew a stranger and loved to talk to everyone he came into contact with.   He was a jokester and that was one of his many traits that everyone loved!

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in 2026.
