Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Hansford, age 85, of Troy, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Caldwell House in Troy. She was born on July 7, 1925 in Troy, Ohio. Libby was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred and her aunts and uncle, including her special aunt, Sara W. Hansford. She is survived by many cousins. She was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1944 and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Troy. She was retired from Hobart Corporation and formerly employed with the City of Troy. Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. Dr. Keith Wagner officiating. Private interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Vitas Hospice.
