Eliza ''Liz'' Parkinson Sarver, age 82 died Sunday, her favorite day of the week that of the Lord's Day. She was born of the late James Parkinson and Rosella Jones Parkinson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James Richard Sarver, Jr. and Diane Sarver; daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Bill Moats; brother, Delbert Parkinson; sisters, Myrtle Jones and Betty Hartle; grandchildren, Angel Sarver, Amy Makela, Holly Curtis and Heather Curtis; great-grandchildren, Timothy Curtis and Bryanna Garbe who is on her way. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Richard Sarver Sr., ten siblings, and son-in-law, Timothy Alan Curtis. She was a member of the Troy Gospel Tabernacle where she served as a children's Sunday school teacher. A role she loved because of her love for children. She was formerly employed with the Troy Daily Newspaper. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association or Hospice of Dayton. She will always be dearly missed by her family and friends.
