Eleanor M. Johnson Chaney, 77, of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born August 3, 1929 in Owensville, Ohio to the late Henry and Elizabeth Myers Johnson. She married Harold "Dale" Chaney and he precedes her in death. She is survived by two children, son & daughter-in-law; John M. and Theresa Chaney of Troy, OH; daughter & son-in-law; Lu and John Reeves of Rock Hill, SC; sisters; Anita Rand of Lynchburg, OH; Sister Mary Carmen Johnson of Cincinnati, OH and Sister Jeanette Johnson of Fayetteville, OH; brother & sister-in-law; Ray & June Johnson of Dunlap, Tennessee; sister-in-law; June Johnson of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Angela Chaney-Haynes; Allison Chaney and Daniel Reeves; two step-grandchildren, Karson Haynes and Spencer Haynes. She is also survived by her favorite pet, Teddy. She is preceded in death by parents; husband; and brothers, Roger K. Johnson and Maurice Johnson. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. She formerly was employed with Ording's. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006 @ 1:30pm at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Jim Duell officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice.
